Registering for the Event:
- To submit a paper, you must first register for the event.

Payment of Registration:
- The registration fee can be paid after the paper has been submitted, at any time up to the date of linking the submission, according to the rates specified on our website.

Submission of Papers:
- There is no limit on the number of papers that can be submitted or co-authored per registration.

Approval of the Paper:
- All papers will undergo evaluation based on their technical-scientific characteristics, innovation, and the quality of the text. Authors should indicate their preference for presentation type (oral or poster) during electronic paper submission. However, the evaluation committee will make the final decision on the presentation format.

Linking the Paper:
- After a paper has been approved, it must be linked to a paid registration. The paper may be linked to any paid registration, provided that the registrant is a co-author.

Registration Restrictions:
- Registrations in the professional category may link and present up to two papers, provided that they are paid for and the papers have received approval.
- Registrations in the student and postdoctoral categories may link and present one paper, provided that they are paid for and the paper has received approval.

Presentation of Papers:
- Only approved papers linked to a paid registration may be presented.

Publication in the Proceedings:
- All papers linked to paid registrations will be published in the proceedings of the event.
Submission
All papers must be submitted electronically through the system, in English, in the form of an Abstract or an Extended Abstract. To prepare your submission(s), please use the templates provided below:
Please strictly adhere to the guidelines specified in the templates to ensure correct and efficient submission.
Presentation
Oral: The slides of the works selected for oral presentation must be prepared and written in English. The presentation may be delivered in either English or Portuguese.
Poster: Posters must be prepared and written in English. The presentation may be delivered in either English or Portuguese. To prepare your poster(s), please use the template provided below:

Dicas para elaboração de pôsteres
No congresso haverá muitos pôsteres competindo pela atenção do público. Os participantes podem ficar cansados pelo volume de informação e, por isso, a transmissão da informação pode ficar mais eficiente, se caprichamos na apresentação.
Como destacar seu pôster
- Título conciso e informativo – o nosso cérebro processa melhor informações curtas e diretas. Títulos longos ou confusos dificultam a compreensão.
- Objetivo/hipótese em evidência - deixe claro qual pergunta sua pesquisa busca responder
- Organização visual - no mundo ocidental as pessoas sempre leem da esquerda para direita. Evite textos longos, imagens podem chamar mais a atenção e deixar o pôster mais destacado.
- Resultados relevantes - embora você possa ter muitos resultados, apresente somente os que respondem ao objetivo/hipótese do seu trabalho.
- Conclusões objetivas – conecte suas conclusões diretamente ao objetivo/hipótese inicial.
Criando pôsteres acessíveis
- Tamanho e fontes:
- Título e principais conclusões: entre 72 e 150 pontos
- Demais textos: mínimo de 36 pontos
- Escolha das fontes: prefira fontes sem serifa (Helvetica, Arial ou Verdana)
- Contraste: use combinações de alta legibilidade, como texto preto sobre fundo branco ou texto branco sobre fundo escuro.
- Espaçamento entre linhas: entre 1,5 e 2,0 para facilitar a leitura.
- Acessibilidade digital: disponibilize sua pesquisa e gráficos em um código QR (mínimo, 12,7 cm x 12,7 cm). O material online deve ser acessível a leitores de tela.
- Legibilidade visual: não coloque texto sobre imagens.
- Qualidade das imagens: salve em 300 dpi (pontos por polegada) e evite copiar e colar imagens da web com menos de 250 KB.

Publication
Conference Proceedings
All papers from 18th Brazilian Polymer Conference (CBPol) will be published in electronic format in the conference proceedings, which will be available as open access on the conference website.
Polímeros: Ciência e Tecnologia Journal
Authors are invited to submit full versions of their papers to the journal Polímeros: Ciência e Tecnologia, indicating that the article was presented at the 18th CBPol and prepared according to the journal’s submission guidelines. Submissions will undergo peer review following the journal’s standard editorial process. Accepted papers will receive a 50% discount on the article processing charge and will include a mention of the congress.

Macromolecular Symposia
Macromolecular Symposia will publish a special issue featuring full papers presented at the 18th CBPol. Submissions must follow the journal’s guidelines and will be peer-reviewed according to standard editorial procedures.
